"The landlady was very kind and polite. She provided all the necessary things like flip flops, towel and wifi password. The bed was very comfortable surprisingly. Would definitely recommend it!"

"Sehr nette Besitzerin. Lage etwas versteckt im Kampung. Nah am Flughafen. An einem kleinen See mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Essensmöglichkeiten an der nahen Hauptstraße. Küche mit Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine. Super für Leute, die eine Übernachtung in Flughafennähe suchen."

"I tried a hostel for the first time and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. I went in a little sceptical, but a close friend strongly recommended this place—and it completely lived up to (and surpassed) my expectations. The property itself is stunning, perfectly located (a walkable radius from most important landmarks), with a rooftop view that’s hard to beat. But what really made the experience was the vibe—there’s such a natural sense of community here that just pulls you in. What I loved and will miss the most were the owners and staff, who are easily some of the warmest, most genuine people I met on this trip. Somehow managed to feel like I’d known them for ages by the time I left. Left with a full heart and would 100% want to stay here again."

"The staff were amazing! So friendly, and helpful. There was milk provided for the guests which was a bonus as I always bring tea bags with me, so saved me a walk to the shop. The location was brilliant and the hostel was very clean"

The only issue is that I’ve stayed in similar hostels, but the price was nowhere near as expensive. I know it’s in Zurich, but it’s still a hostel.

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"A szállás a Belvárosban volt, ez nagyra értékelendő, 10 perc sétára a Skanderbeg Square-től. A vendéglátó kedves, figyelmes. 1-2 éjszakára tökéletes."

A vendéglátó csak esténként érhető el. A fürdőszobát nem ártana többször takarítani.

We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC
