"Location was close to everything and the room ( 2 bedroom suite ) was spacious"

The kitchen could use a microwave oven The curtains in the bedrooms should be washed.. they smelled musty please provide English instructions on how to use the laundry machine

"The location was excellent and very convenient. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the apartment itself was very spacious. Overall, the place was really good and we enjoyed our stay."

The cleanliness of the kitchen area was disappointing. There were dirty dishes with coffee stains left in the cupboard, which suggests the kitchen had not been properly checked after the previous guests. Basic items such as a kitchen towel were also missing. Most of the lights in the living room were not working. Only one light in the kitchen functioned, and the lamps did not work either. There was also no lighting available in the bedroom, which made the space difficult to use at night. In addition, Wi-Fi was neither offered nor available at the accommodation. While we did not specifically ask about it in advance, it is generally an expected amenity and would have been helpful during our stay.

"The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."

"Very nice hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The tiny balcony was a plus for me and the people where so nice and friendly."

The location was not perfect for me, I ended up renting a scooter which I highly recommend.

"My sister & I stayed 4 nights here! 😍 We loved that… it was great value for money,… there’s a shop downstairs that opened 7 days till late… The location was awesome, right next to DMC, Vailoa, (the best fried chicken franchise on the island 😋)… the twin room was clean, and spacious with 2 x twin beds, sofa lounge, a balcony with clothes airer, a wardrobe, massive shower with hot water, toiletries & towels, kitchen sink with utilities, Tea/Coffee facilities, Aircon & free WiFi…and… The host, (Teresa), was very friendly & welcoming, always willing & present to help out when needed. 😃"

The only issue, was the accommodation is upstairs and carrying heavy luggage upstairs was a little challenging, otherwise, it was excellent value for money. 👍

"Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

We had some problems with the door that never worked for the whole stay but the reception staff was helpful

La sig.ra Gina incarna l'ospitalità e l'accoglienza che ogni ospite desidera ricevere; empatica e mai invadente, generosa nel donarsi, attenta e cordiale. Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. "We liked everything! This can not be described by words. One must come and see the exceptionally beautiful nature of Mariovo, this village Zovich and the nearby village Staravina. The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"

We really can not think of anything we did not like.

Dreadful road with huge potholes in the road to the units. Not Access fault.
