"We visited in the off season and the resort was very quiet. All the staff were very friendly and we loved all the facilities. We used the gym, had a couples massage, ate in every restaurant and enjoyed watching the waves on the sun loungers. The beds were the comfiest we stayed in and we loved our coconut welcome drinks! We were lucky enough to see a few turtles on our last day! Perfect location for arriving or leaving Samoa with just a $30 tala taxi ride."

We were sad the pool was closed but appreciate we were there in the off season and there was maintenance

"Nagyon kedves volt a tulajdonos. Külön tetszett a ház családias hangulata, a kert rész, és hogy csendes helyen van. A szobánk pont olyan volt, mint a képeken! Meglepett a konyha felszereltsége, még airfryer is volt."

A padló a férjem szerint egy picit lejtett. Egész héten ide-oda mászkált egy helyen, hason fekve nézegette. Vízi mértékkel ellenőrizgette, végül úgy döntött, hogy szereznünk kell egy golyót. Nagyon nehéz volt lebeszélni róla. Szerintem egyébként nem lejtett...

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"Wij hadden de benedenverdieping van de Villa. In één woord: heerlijk! De accommodatie is ruim, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad is heerlijk waar de kids zich ook goed in vermaakt hebben. De omgeving is niet erg toeristisch, maar met een beetje goed zoeken zijn er diverse mooie wandelroutes in de omgeving. De host is erg vriendelijk en staat voor je klaar."

"A szállást azért választottuk, mert közvetlenül a sziklás partszakaszon volt, rálátással a tengerre :) Már voltunk itt és ritka, hogy mi valahová visszamenjünk, de nem bántuk meg :)"

Biztos nem volt fontos, mert nem emlékszem. Parkolás kissé időnként nehézkes. Nem a szállás hibája, de gusztustalanul sok meduza volt azon a héten a tengerben.

"Meseszép a hely és a kilátás! A személyzet nagyon kedves. A termálvíz, a dézsa és a szauna szuper volt és külön kiemelendő, hogy a strand zárása után a szálló vendégek még használhatták este a termált. A reggeli finom volt és a mennyiséggel sem volt problémánk."

A szobában 10 percig engedni kell a vizet, hogy jöjjön meleg is. A reggeli bár finom volt, de nagyon egyhangú, főleg ha valaki több napra megy. A személyzet nagyon kedves volt, de a főnök indokolatlanul minősíthetetlen hangnemben beszélt velünk. Köntöst a kommentek miatt vittünk magunkkal, de szuper lenne, ha a szálláson is rendelkezésre állna. A benti büfé volt csak nyitva, ahol kevés választék volt az italok terén, főleg a rövid italokat hiányoltuk.

"Everything was amazing! The owners take great pride in their new property and hospitality. We felt super welcomed and honestly spoilt! The room was beautiful with proper linens, thick towels and a hot shower!! The food was delicious - we tried pretty much everything in the menu. Great variety and portions. Lovely place to hang and relax by the pool or take a kayak to the nearby village and mangroves. This was our favourite stay on a 6 week trip and recommend to anyone staying in the area!! All the best to these wonderful hosts!! Xo"

"Ate at Five Foot Door a michelin star restaurant and had a most memorable experience with exemplary service staff and sumptuous food."

Toilet inside hotel room had a cigarette smoke smell.

"Breakfast was fantastic. The meal we had at the restaurant was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking included was good. The facilities were excellent, including swimming, ice skating, curling, etc"

"L’emplacement et les équipements du logement ainsi que du centre Pierre et Vacances. La terrasse bec vue sur le parc et la mer! L’hôte a été compréhensive et arrangeante avec nous pour s’adapter à nos horaires d’avion."

Le seul bémol réside dans l’humidité ambiante dans l’appartement, mais l’hôte a mis à disposition un déshumidificateur efficace et la climatisation pour diminuer les effets.

You definitely need a car and we had difficulty hiring one.There was also no water on our last day. This is overcome by a back up system which needs to be turned on by staff who may not be on site till 10am

"We are thankful for the wonderful Christmas week spent in villa Castoria. Marina Liptov. First of all, the accommodation itself: a nice family sofa, cosy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and a marvelous view to the mountains and winter river ❤️ The service is perfect!"

A homok miatt egy napi vagy két napi takarítás jó lett volna a szobában is, de legalább a két különböző foglalás között.

"Nice calm resort well eqiupped spa, large rooms, great food, drink as well.. What is on top level is staff, in particular super nice lady at reception, always ready to help, moving you immediatelly to relaxing mood on arrival. Hope landlord is well aware having such a treasure in the team."

"Due to another group booking received a free upgrade to an entire private bungalow. Staff and service was professional and friendly throughout. Rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean (cleaning staff deserve a bonus!), and beds comfortable. Included riding tour was a pleasant surprise and really enjoyable, highly recommended. The whole setup as a non-profit for the benefit of the community is commendable. I strongly recommend staying here!"

"Beautiful view, with exceptional service. The staff is extremely friendly, makes a point of learning your name and providing the personal touch. A bit outside the busy Stone Town area, very close to the airport. Well priced."

The breakfast is a bit disappointing, would have loved a strong cup of coffee, but the rest of the menu is really enjoyable, and the great service more than makes up for the slightly under par breakfast.
