"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

"Sehr nette Besitzerin. Lage etwas versteckt im Kampung. Nah am Flughafen. An einem kleinen See mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Essensmöglichkeiten an der nahen Hauptstraße. Küche mit Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine. Super für Leute, die eine Übernachtung in Flughafennähe suchen."

"Property had a really nice hang out space and the WiFi worked really well and was very fast for our 2 day stay. Staff helped us arrange a local bus to Chipata."

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…

"The staff were amazing! So friendly, and helpful. There was milk provided for the guests which was a bonus as I always bring tea bags with me, so saved me a walk to the shop. The location was brilliant and the hostel was very clean"

The only issue is that I’ve stayed in similar hostels, but the price was nowhere near as expensive. I know it’s in Zurich, but it’s still a hostel.

"Nagyon barátságos a tulajdonos . José a lelke az egész szálláshelyek. Csodás ember! Gyönyörű, tiszta szobák, és mellékhelyiségek . Konyha jól felszerelt, van mosó,és szárítógép is. Jose felajánlotta, hogy kérhetünk reggelit, és vacsorát is. Éltem a lehetőséggel, nem bántam meg. Nagyon finom volt mindkettő. Reggelihez forró ropogós kenyeret kaptunk. Már a 20. napja zarándokok. Ki merem mondani, hogy a SENOR OSO volt a legjobb szálláshely , ahol eddig jártam. Nagyon jót tudtam pihenni. Szívből ajánlom mindenkinek."

"A place that has an old fashioned look with plenty of decorative wooden features. Bedrooms good. Kitchen OK. Bathroom good. Plenty of hot water. Very convenient location."

"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

"A reggeli tökéletes volt számunkra: felvágott, sajt, vaj, lekvár, joghurt. A péksütemény különösen friss és finom volt. Természetesen kávé és tea, valamilyen juice-ok is voltak."

Talán egy kis szeletelt zölség lehetett volna még (pl. paradicsom, paprika, uborka), de lehet hogy ez itt nem szokásos. :)

"Amazing hostel, nice location and there are always a lot of travellers passing by. If you are planning to go to the seven lakes it’s very likely you’ll find other people so you can share a car to the lakes, stay overnight at the guesthouse. The hostel also lets you leave your things if you’re leaving and then come back."

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Spent some wonderful days here! Especially Yessin, the host is really nice and helpful! There’s a shared kitchen, a terrace, where you can meet other guests and also a living room. Beds are comfy. Would recommend it for backpackers, who want to explore Tatouine and the area around. Yessine can you provide recommendations for both and even organise a tour."

"The views from the house is amazing! The beaches nearby are empty and beautiful, and you got a bit of a local vibe. Food was really good and in general good value for money. Would highly recommend. If you come to surf be aware that there is no good places to rent proper surfboards nearby🏄‍♀️"
