Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. A bookable sauna experience featuring a sauna, wood-burning hot tub and ice bath is available for a fee. Holding a temperature between -5 to -8 degrees Celsius, the individually themed cold rooms include hand-carved ice furnishings by international artists. Guests sleep in thermal sleeping bags on beds covered in reindeer hides. In the morning, guests can enjoy the shared sauna. All warm rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, dining area, and a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Free WiFi is offered in all rooms. The on-site IceHotel restaurant serves traditional dishes with locally produced ingredients. Guests can relax with hot drinks and snacks in the warm lounge, or enjoy cocktails served in glasses made out of ice in the below-freezing Icebar. Guests can enjoy a complimentary entrance ticket to the IceHotel. The area around the property is popular for outdoor winter activities such as dog sledding, reindeer sled excursions, and snowmobile tours. The staff will also be happy to arrange activities such as river rafting, hiking, and fishing. During summer season, guests will experience midnight sun. In the winter, guests can enjoy northern lights if lucky. The closest airport is Kiruna Airport, 14 km from the property.

"Csodálatos kis falu Svédországban. A reptéri transzfert érdemes előre lefoglalni a szállodával, mert olcsóbb is úgy és a buszközlekedés Kiruna és Jukkasjarvi között ritkán van. Van egy nagyon jó kis Coop élelmiszerbolt a faluban, ott mindent meglehet venni a vacsorához vagy délutáni snack-hez. Mikró, vízforraló és hűtő van a meleg szobákhoz.Csak reggelivel is tökéletes volt az ellátás. Nagyon sok szuper programot szerveznek a környéken, igazán különleges és egy életre szóló kaland az Icehotel. A hideg szobában egy éjszaka is elég, a többit a melegben. A kinti programokhoz pluszban adnak csizmát, overált, kesztyűt...mindent ami kell ahhoz, hogy a vendég jól érezze magát a kültéri programok során."

Great to have access to the ice museum all the time, access to use snowbooys, overalls etc. Great activities from the hotel. Highly recommend the dog sledge from the hotel. "We stayed in a cabin, and it was perfect. It had everything we needed—cutlery, a mini kitchen, and a toilet. There’s only cold water in the cabin, but we used the public kitchen to wash the dishes. Since it was slightly off-season, there were very few guests at the campsite, which made it nice and quiet. We chose this campsite because all reasonably priced hotels in Gothenburg were fully booked, and it was conveniently located on our way from Copenhagen."
