"We had a wonderful stay. The ambience of the place is beautiful and truly authentic. Our room was traditional, very clean, and warm, which made it feel especially comfortable. The location is excellent and convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious, generous, and offered a great variety. Yassine and Bader were incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of helpful tips and recommendations. They really went above and beyond to help us during our stay. It was also possible to arrange car rental through the accommodation, which made the process much easier for us. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting."

"Riad Cannelle is a beautiful riad conveniently located in the northern part of Marrakesh medina with very easy access to Madrasa Ben Youssef, the Secret garden and dar El Bacha. With regard to location I would also note that it is near some main roads which makes it easy for pick up for tours in mornings. It is just a 15 min walk to the main square too. Our room was spacious, with interesting traditional decorations, very clean and with a nice bathroom. It also had a very beautiful and broad terrace with table and arm chairs overlooking the inner court. The staff are very kind and punctual. They were able to offer us early full breakfast when we had to start early for our tours (instead of packed breakfast which is the more standard practice). They organized airport transfer for us. We would highly recommend Riad Cannelle."

"I didn’t love the matrass. I think it needs a new one. There was a bit of a dent in it."

"We didn’t dislike anything about the hotel but were surprised by a number of things - possibly because we didn’t research it enough. This is a traditional house with 4 rooms. We had 2 suites so each room was a decent size. It is located up a narrow lane in the medina. To enter you need to ring a bell to get in & a member of staff always lets you out. On one morning, we ate under the moon & stars as it was early. The table was set in the open courtyard and so is colder first thing in the morning. Please be aware that there is no restaurant or bar. Meals can be made for you if you order in advance. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises or within the medina apart from in restaurants where you can eat inside. Our stay reflected true Moroccan life which can be experienced living here. If it’s a hotel with all amenities you want then you need to stay in the new part of the town."

"Central position to main tourist sites. Staff very friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious (especially the cake) and we ate an evening meal there one night that was amazing."

"The team were super helpful and friendly. Shout out to Badr and Adil. The location is central but quiet with easy access to the souks and also hotels and attractions that are outside the medina. The beds are comfortable and the shower, hot. Breakfasts were great, mostly sweet and plentiful. Our room was cleaned very well every day."

"Everything was amazing, the Riad was really clean and calm. Their staff was wonderful — very attentive and kind. Especially the manager, Adil, who helped us a lot during our stay. The breakfast was nice, though it was a typical French-style breakfast (lots of sweet options, not much savory). Personally, I would have preferred a more Mediterranean-style breakfast, but that’s just a matter of taste — everything was delicious anyway. Thank you for the peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, calmness, and your warm smiles."

"Everything. The staff are welcoming and kind, an oasis next to the Medina. One of us wasn't very well during our stay and our hosts couldn't have done more for us. We booked half board, we just wanted to not have to find food every night, it was a good choice. It was a set meal, no menu, and the food was outstanding! Something different every night - even the first night which we really didn't expect given an arrival time near to midnight. Easy walking distance of all there is to see in the city, don't get taxis or hire a car. Trips or venue tickets are easily arranged through the Riad."
