"Egy remek embert ismertünk meg a házigazda személyében, aki ugyan egyszerű, de a célnak tökéletesen megfelelő szállást nyújt az Atlasz hegység látogatói számára... Ezen felül a házigazda felesége pompás vacsorát, berber tajine-t készített számunkra. Ami meglepő volt, amikor megkérdeztük, hogy mennyit fizetünk a vacsoráért, a házigazda a saját belátásunkra bízta a dizetendő összeg nagyságát. A szállásnyújtáson kívül Hamid úr remek túrákat szervez az Atlasz hegységbe, 25 éves túravezetői tapasztalattal rendelkezik. Minket is elvitt úttalan utakon (autónkkal) olyan helyekre, ahonnan csodás panoráma tárult elénk. Egy vízeséshez is felmásztunk, kb 2 órás volt ez a gyalogtúra."

"We had lots of warm and beautiful blankets, there were enough beds and they were clean. We had the traditional Berber breakfast served every morning which was lovely, Hamid was caring and constantly checked we were ok and had enough to eat. We enjoyed the mountain hike which Hamid led. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner with other people which was lovely as we got to make friends. Hamid’s family was lovely and we had access to their kitchen which we used to try to warm up food for our child."

"It was very cold and almost unbearable to sleep in the rooms at night despite the blankets. Our 3 year old became very poorly (coughing all night with cold and runny nose) and could barely eat. We had paid for 8 days but had to leave after 3 nights to a place in the coty centre which was warmer and had AC. We also moved so we could also take our child to consult in a pharmacy. After we moved, all of use became ill for the rest of our stay in Morocco. I think we chose the wrong time to go. It was freezing in the rooms at night at night and the layers of clothing and blankets were insufficient."

"We really appreciated the warm welcome from Hamid in a beautiful, peaceful valley. The rooms are clean and comfortable with access to a big sitting room and a rooftop terrace with great views. Lovely home cooking is provided, which is ideal as there are no restaurants nearby. You can catch the local bus and grand taxi to Imlil, Asni and Ouirgane from just outside the house, or if you have a bigger budget, pay for excursions to the mountains or Berber villages."

"Unique experience for our family! Staying in one room with mattresses next to each other on the floor was part of the new experience in our trip! Hamod is the expert in the region, he knows everything and will help you to plan your trip properly. We also tried the local dishes at his place and it was a very good experience. Don't expect a hotel or hostel facilities, it's a homestay, safe convenient and very good value for the money. I would comeback to this place if I came back to Imlil again! Have a safe trip!"

"Hamid and family were extremely hospitable, we have never experienced a true Berber family atmosphere. We were immersed in culture and warmth. We were shown parts of the mountains that are completely untouched by tourism, you will never experience this anywhere else. Thank you 🙏😊"

"Hamid welcomed us with open arms into his home. The bedroom was really cozy and comfortable, the food delicious and Hamid and his family very kind. He did a hike/walk with us to a Berber village and natural park with a great panoramic view. I can only recommend to stay there if you want an authentic experience into Moroccan culture!"

"The location is very scenic. There are some good mountain day hikes which you can do straight from the house. The people of the local village are very friendly and will approach you to shake your hand and talk to you. Hamid's family are lovely and accommodating hosts. Mint tea and unlimited bottled drinking water is included in the cost of the stay. Breakfast is included and is good, I particularly liked the fresh fried flat breads The evening tajine meals are very tasty and reasonably priced (100 mad per person). There is a minibus to Asni or Imlil that costs only 5 mad (maybe more on market day) and is an interesting way to meet local people. Pre arranged taxi transfer from the airport (400 mad). There are two small shops in the village, useful for picking up small snacks and soft drinks."

"We visited during a heatwave in Europe and it was very hot. Written comms and arranging transfer before arrival can be a challenge, audio call was easier. The time of the mini bus can be hit and miss, we had to wait over an hour once, and it can be busy (standing room only) at peak times. There is nothing for tourists in the village (no cafes, bars, restaurants etc.). It's completely undeveloped, apparently many homes don't even have electricity and running water. But the locals are very hospitable in their own way, and If you do speak to them you'll almost certainly be offered tea!"
