"The original buildings and gardens are beautiful. The pool was nice and warm (but not too warm). The hotel was relaxed and peaceful - great for a lovely chilled out break. The restaurant was good with a wide selection of tasty food. The rooms were clean, a decent size and had lovely comfortable beds."

"Not a lot. If I was getting picky, a few tiles were coming off the pool and there seemed to be an excessive use of pesticides killing bees around the garden!"

"We got moved from a small basic room, which had street noise to a rear room overlooking the garden, which was peaceful. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff."

"Beautiful place, extremely great and friendly service, and there was always someone around who understood my English and bad Spanish! Meals were extra, and all very delicious and interesting. My king room was large, lots of space in the bathroom and closets. Unlike some others have reported, I thought the 15-20 minute walk to the historic center during the daylight hours was fine (but I love to walk)."

"The only thing I didn't like was that the music they played went until later into the evening and could be heard in my room. But it always stopped before I went to bed, so never disturbed my sleep."
