"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "Nice room with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette connected to main house but separate entrance. Good option if you want to surf Playa Colorados - 15 min walk or less by bicycle. The host Eric is friendly and hospitable."

"Amazing location!! At the heart of The Pearl, right by the beach (private beach) and 5 minutes away from the Gewan Island and Abraj Bay. The host was very quick to respond and to accommodate us, thank you very much!"

"Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.

"Apartment was clean and well equiped, lots of parking places near by and great bonus was the pool, especially for kids. The location is very quiet, and everything is easily accessible from it. The host was very helpful and kind allowed us to check in earlier, which was wonderful after a very early flight. I definitely recommend it — my family and I had a great time."

"The accommodation was in the flat, which was on the first Floor. It was a private room with AC and TV. You could cook in the kitchen. McDonald's was a one-minute walk away. The public beach is 5 minutes by car. Qidfa beach. The beach is very clean. The landlord is a very friendly and nice person. The flat had no small kids, and it was very calm. Close to Fujairah and Khor Fakkan. You would stay here 1 or more nights."
