"Kedves, figyelmes a személyzet. A bar-okban is megjegyzik az embert és meg se kell szólalnom, már a hét közepén kérdezik, hogy azt adhatják, amit szoktam kérni(america, spanish, german bar)? :) Az étteremben bőséges a választék, folyamatosan, szorgosan töltik zárás előtt 5 perccel is. Jól szigeteltek a szobák falai,nyílászárói. Nem papírvékonyak a falak. Semmit nem hallani a szomszéd szobából,folyosóról, parkból. Mindig találni napágyat a medence körül és a tengerparton is. Ingyenes! Az animatorok is lelkesek, sokan vannak, sok programmal gyerekeknek és felnőtteknek is! Egy alkalommal ketten is odamentek a lányomhoz vígasztalni, mikor arra sétáltak és látták, hogy szomorú és pigyereg. Gyönyörű fákkal és növényekkel teli a kert ! (3 szálloda közös parkkal és csúszdákkal) Szuperek a csúszdák! A kisgyerekes csúszdák és medencék is klasszak! A tengerparton, közeli kis kikötőböl indul vízi taxi Nessebar óvároshoz, megfelelő áron."

Ezek csak apróságok, összességében nem rontott a mi pozitív élményünkön és nem feltétlenül tehet róla a hotel: Nem szólt zene a mi szállodánk előtti medencénél. A Palace részlegnél szuper zene ment. Nagyon meredeken van a tengerpart. Sokat kell lépcsőzni/emelkedőn menni visszafelé menet. Zavaros volt a tenger vize, mint egy tó. Sok a hínár. A csúszdákhoz is extra élmény lehetne egy lift. A lépcsőfordulókban az aprókavicsos járófelület, fájdalmas akupunktúrás élményt nyújt.

"Nagyon szép helyen van a hotel. A tengerre néző kilátás különösen gyönyörű. Külön köszönöm, hogy édesanyámnak elkészítették a szobába a meglepetést a kérésemre ( lufik,mini torta, pezsgő, üdvözlőkártya). A szoba tágas volt és nagy erkéllyel rendelkezett. Kellemes időt töltöttünk itt."

Szerettem volna igénybe venni a belső medencét, nehezen találtam meg és mire sikerült egy szabad napozó ágy sem volt, nagyon tele volt. Elég kicsi ez a benti rész egy akkora hotelra mint ez. Volt kinti medence is viszont az nem fűtött így február végén nagyon hideg lett volna.

Too many kids - weather was a bit rainy so they were mostly inside...

Our room was cold, Maintenance came to sort it out but he didn't really know much about the thermostat, said he sorted it and it won't take long to heat uo, but never did, wasn't ideal with a little baby, said baby was asleep by time we realised it wasn't heating up. A small blemish on what was otherwise a really nice stay.

"The villa setup gives real privacy and calm, and the resort layout on the hillside feels like a Mediterranean-style village. You use the resort shuttle to get around, but it’s easy and well organised. All-inclusive was genuinely excellent, especially the cocktails. We tried two restaurants and the steak restaurant (The Deck) was a standout. Staff were exceptional: warm, relaxed and genuinely helpful. They also did a thoughtful birthday touch which felt personal. A small but adorable detail: they have cute little sunbeds for kids on the beach."

Not a dislike, but good to know - because it’s built on a hill, you’ll use the resort shuttle frequently, but it’s part of what creates the privacy and views.

"This is my fourth visit . It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. I found the food at the all inclusive restaurants. The staff were very helpful. The gardens looked beautiful . I found a sun bed at the beach each day with no problem. The WiFi worked well around the resort."

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

Only the lack of internet. There are no connexion even with data. So it can be frustrating when connexion is needed (to check flight for exemple)

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

Language is a barrier especially if you are an English speaker. Very clean place. Great music at the La Marine restaurant. Great restaurant staff. Great food"

Despite the well balanced breakfast, I ate the same breakfast for the entire period of my stay. This was predictable and monotonous . The breakfast was standard, meaning that I had no choice in terms of portion, variety and pricing. I expected to find cooking pots and utensils in the kitchen to allow me the option of cooking and preparing anything . I wish the hotel provided information on places to be visited within the vicinity and information regarding the most recent COP29

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"Great property to relax in after a trek! Good food, staff were lovely and I enjoyed the serenity considering it is in Kathmandu."

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).

"I love this family friendly vibe! There is a pool for kids, adults with swim up bar and another quieter relax pool for adults only. The shows were good- the circus show and the fire show were my favorites. Everyone from the front desk to servers to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, you have a choice in the evening between the buffet and restaurants."

It took us a few days to figure out what was happening at the resort as our Spanish was so limited.

"Wonderful little resort in a tropical garden, spacious room, very friendly staff"

The resort is not in walking distance to San Ignacio. You need a car (and worse a parking spot) to go there. This makes you dependent on the hotel‘s facilities and restaurant. Be aware that the breakfast included only means a small selection of breakfast choices. Whenever you want something extra eg eggs you pay extra! You pay a 10% „service charge“ on everything, even on the organization of tours, which is quite a ripoff. I did some activities organized by the hotel. These tours (especially the mayan cooking class) are real good, however as a single I had to pay for two people (minus a small discount). Moreover, tax & „service charge“ were added to the net prices mentioned in the flyer. Taken together this makes these tours unacceptably expensive.

The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.

A homok miatt egy napi vagy két napi takarítás jó lett volna a szobában is, de legalább a két különböző foglalás között.

Check air conditioner operation before sleeping! We down graded to beach front from water bungalow but didnt get discount or reimbursement from booking dot com. :( Had noisy neighouring resort from parties over 2 days.

"The hotel was exceptional from arriving to leaving. The little touches make it extra special like free mini bar, little gifts in your room every evening, water hampers on the beach. The beach is amazing, all rooms have perfect views. Staff are very attentive. Breakfast has the best choices, one of the best I have had. Michelin star restaurant is fabulous would definitely recommend."

Rooms very expensive but definitely worth a visit

In general, I really did like the property. It is perhaps not as fresh as it could be however that is part of its attraction.
