This renovated accommodation was originally built in the early 1900’s, and is a 4-minute walk from the centre of Sintra. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms with showers. All rooms at the Monte da Lua are heated, and include a TV and tea and coffee facilities. There are a number of restaurants within 200m of the Monte. The front desk can provide information on attractions in the area, such as the UNESCO world heritage listed Quinta da Regaleira estate, and the Sintra National Palace. The Castle of the Moors is a 40-minute drive away. The Monte da Lua is just over 30 minutes’ from Lisbon Portela Airport by car.

"Sintra központjában, nagyszerű helyen. A szállásadó kedves és segítőkész volt, a parkolást féláron lehetett igénybe venni a tulaj segítségével. Gyönyörű város, mindenkinek látnia kell! A szállás remek választás volt, ár-érték arányban nagyszerű!"

"Minden rendben volt. Közvetlenül a pályaudvar mellett van, A buszok is Itt nem indulnak. Azok kicsit hangosak de mivel úgyis napközben kirándultunk és csak este voltunk a szálláson így nem volt zavaró. A ház vezető hölgy nagyon kedves mindenben."

"Location is fabulous. Right opposite the train station and bus stops for palaces, etc. Just a short walk into the historic centre. We also caught the local bus to Cabo do Roca. Big, comfortable bed with conveniently placed sockets. Big shower cubicle, good water pressure and they even provide a hair dryer. The lady on reception was very helpful."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
