"The hotel is exceptional – the location, the attentive staff, the food, and the service – everything was perfect! We felt very, very comfortable, and the accommodation exactly matched the description and the pictures. You could get used to the sight of palm trees outside your window when you wake up! Hamid gave us an impressive and very interesting (free) tour of the town, which you absolutely shouldn't miss! Overall, more than just accommodation, but a complete experience!"

"At check-in we didn't know that the guesthouse belonged to the Misfat Heritage House - therefore we didn't find it right away and were a little confused."

"Excellent location to explore Misfah, right at one of the gates to the old village with street parking nearby. We were upgraded to a very nice room with balcony overlooking palm plantations. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the owner offered a free, very interesting tour around the old village. Access to rooms is via many stairs, but staff helped with our luggage. Excellent dinner in an outdoor dinning room with nice views."

"This as an excellent place to stay for two nights whilst visiting Misfãh and Jebel Shams. We managed to park right outside the accomodation, however it is tricky.... most people park outside the village. The hospitality throughout our stay was amazing, first class. Our room, number seven, had a very large window, good size and very comfortable. The owner, Hassan took us on a 90 minute free tour of the village, (starts at 4:30pm), which was wonderful and not to be missed. Dinner and breakfast are buffet style, Omani, home cooked food. There is complimentary tea, coffee and dates available throughout your stay and plenty of bottled water. Is summary, the hospitality from Hassan and his brother was exceptional and made our stay memorable."

"A lovely hotel with breath-taking views of the valley, mountains and village. The room itself is well spaced and has everything you'd need. Extra duvet/pillow was requested and this was promptly given. WiFi is a hit and miss from the room, but really, it's not essential when you are in such a place. Staff are lovely, helpful and very friendly. Overall a lovely experience and highly recommend this place!"

"Breakfast options, as people mention, are very limited - I hope they can expand this with time! Also just to be aware - there are A LOT of steps that you have to taken down, then back up. For anyone that has mobility issues, please bear this in mind. Try to keep small luggage so you can easily transport to the hotel, as the parking is at a distance and stairs to the rooms are narrow. The drive there is perfectly fine, however parking can be difficult once you get to the site - the road is almost one-way with a lot of traffic especially with tour cars coming and going through the day."
