"Egy rendkívül kedves házaspár, André és Sonja üzemeltetik ezt az egyetlen szobás kis szállást, de minden van, amire az embernek szüksége lehet. Kiváló fürdőszoba, nagyon kényelmes ágy, a patakparton egy deck (sajnos nem használtuk, túl kevés ideig voltunk). És ami a legfontosabb: nyitottság a vendégek irányába, estébe nyúló kellemes beszélgetés. A kedvező árat már nem is kell említeni. Feltétlenül ajánljuk ezt a szállást, és ha jövünk máskor, csakis itt szállunk meg. Ha a Tongariro Alipne Crossing-ra érkeztünk, André segít shuttle buszt foglalni. Ezenkívül pontosan megjósolja, hogy mikor lesz napsütés, és emiatt melyik shuttle-lel menjünk. A mi esetünkben a jóslat tökéletesen bevált!"

"Everything was great! The owners were super friendly 💟 the room was big and we had a separate bathroom and toilet only for our use. We could also use the kitchen! There is nice garden with tables and chairs to use and they've got river at the yard! It was nice to walk barefoot at the morning with a cup of coffee ☕️ we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Simple, homely and clean accommodation with very friendly hosts. Perfect place to stay if you are a hiker, sking, star gazer, or just a casual walker enjoying nature. The setting is very tranquil- would have loved to have used the outdoor deck but the weather turned wet."

"This was actually the first time ever staying in the hosts dwelling or sharing accomodation other than camp grounds n hostels. I was a bit worried at first...we are shy n like our own space. Which we utterly had felt so comfortable the hosts were so lovley. Id be back."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
