Fosslivegen 252, 5785 Eidfjord, Norvégia
Az 1891-ben épült Fossli Hotel többek között a híres norvég zeneszerzőt, Edvard Grieg-et is rendszeres vendégének mondhatta. A hotel egy hegység tetején, csodálatos helyen lelehető fel, ahonnan lenyűgöző látvány nyílik a Mabo-völgyre. A Fossli közel fekszik a Vøringsfoss-vízeséshez. Látogasson el arra a helyre, mely évszázadokon keresztül művészek és zenészek tömkelegét varázsolta el. A szecessziós stílusú épületet, mely a szállodának otthont ad, a híres építész, Konow Lund tervezte.

"Comfortable and clean charming old hotel. Excellent location next to spectacular Voringfossen. Restaurant onsite for good breakfast and dinner."
"All good"
"The location is just fantastic. Old hotel but ver charming. I absolutely loved the view from my room. Will defenetely come back."
"Aucun."
"Amazing view from anywhere, inside or outside the hotel. The view from my room was beautiful. The whole decoration of the hotel was also intriguing, giving viking vibes. Food was okay, not bad and not amazing either."
"The building itself seemed a little old, making cracking sounds here and there while walking. There was also no elevator, so I had to take all the bags up to the third floor, even if the staff helped a little, it was still not ideal."
"Lovely view Breakfast and dinner were good Plenty of room Plenty of hot water Old building but we really liked its charm"
"No lift Don’t like dogs in eating area. Even though the dog was not in the dining room but just in next area I still don’t like it"
"Adorable small hotel, quite old but clean and at an amazing location next to the falls"
"Aucun."
"The view just in front of the hotel is spectacular. I did not need to hike 4hrs or 12 hrs to see the waterfall or mountains in front of the hotel and outside my window. There are a few viewing platforms near and in front of the hotel. The hotel has an old world charm. The staff are helpful and friendly."
"The items in my standard room are very basic. There’s no kettle, no fridge, insufficient surfaces or hooks to put or hang things."
"Excellent location right next to the waterfall - authentic hotel with great clean room. Great breakfast - highly recommended."

"Excellent location! Beautiful view! Located next to Voringsfossen!"
"Even though it is a historical hotel, more can be done to spruce up the hotel - rooms and restaurant."
"Fossli Hotel is a true gem with a deep soul and unmatched location — perched above Vøringsfossen with views over the canyon and waterfalls. The building is full of history and charm, with elegant common spaces, beautiful woodwork, and a quiet, almost exclusive atmosphere. Watching crowds pass by from the comfort of the guest-only lounge with a glass of cognac in hand felt like a luxury experience. The rooms are spotless and full of Norwegian character. I felt deeply welcomed by the owner Erik and his right hand Robert — their kindness and warm memory of my previous visits moved me deeply. Dining was excellent, and everything — from the setting to the mood — was perfect."
"There was truly nothing that bothered me. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to slightly adjust the shower curtain layout in room 24 — water tended to splash beyond the shower area, and an L-shaped curtain rail might help. Also, while the dining room staff were friendly and kind, it was clear some of them weren’t trained in fine restaurant service etiquette — understandable, but noticeable in such a refined setting. These are very minor things and did not affect the joy of staying here."
"The atmosphere in the hotel is very special because it is old (opened in 1891) but has undergone major loving refurbishment in the 50s. The place breathes history and staying there was an awesome experience. It is anything but a run-off-the-mill stylish ski resort hotel! It has lots of old world charm and quirkyness. We absolutely adored the place: Think Thomas Mann's 'The Magic Mountain' and you are getting close."
"The breakfast was perfectly ok but a bit sparse. This might be a Norwegian thing, we had the same experience in other places."

"Booked a master suite for our family of four. So we had 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, roomy lounge area and a balcony with a breathtaking view over the water. 10th flloor. Great breakfast as well. Overall fantastic experience."

"Majdnem 7 óra volt, hogy érkeztünk. Nagyon kedvesen fogadtak, ingyenes parkolót is biztosítottak a motorunk részére. A vacsoránál nagyon odatették magukat, a séf látványkonyhában készítette az ételeket. A pincér profin, nem tolakodóan szervírozta a fogásokat. Nagyon közel volt a komp, a korai indulással sem volt gond, reggelizni is tudtunk előtte."

"Good location, fantastic breakfast and good size room"

"Close to centre of Lillehammer, plenty of free parking, good sized rooms. Staff all friendly and helpful. We used the pool and sauna every evening after skiing, the only issue being the pool was always full of small children between 6pm to 7pm so couldn’t swim lengths. Not really the hotels fault though. Breakfast was an amazing spread, very good quality food. Evening menu was fairly limited but everything we had was very decent. Check-in was from 4pm, which was a bit restrictive, but equally check-out was 1200 which was helpful. Overall hard to beat this hotel for quality and price."
