"Location is right at the heart of Huamantla and we enjoyed experiencing the life of the city. The internal colonial covered patio is beautiful and very pleasant for meals. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was in the modern wing of the hotel, a large room with comfortable king size bed and huge shower room. There were plenty of bath and hand towels. We had a small breakfast table with chairs which were very handy. There was also a large desk in the room, and a large wardrobe."
"There are two parts to this hotel - colonial and the modern wing. We were first allocated to the colonial room which was small and overlooked. We had to ask to be moved to the modern wing. I would suggest that the room sizes and types (colonial or modern) are more clearly stated during the online reservation as they provide different levels of comfort. The modern room window was small with very limited opening. It felt somewhat dark and stuffy. No bathroom mats - I missed those a lot but realised they are often not supplied in Mexican accommodations."
