Set in a 16th-century building in central Florence, Hotel Abaco is 500 metres from Santa Maria Novella Station. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms decorated in Baroque style. Each one inspired by a different artist, rooms are air conditioned and feature a TV, and a compact private or shared bathroom. They come with wood-beamed ceilings, classic-style furniture and colourful bed linen. Breakfast includes traditional Italian coffee and cappuccino and freshly baked croissants. "Az ágy az én ízlésemnek nem túl kényelmes, túl puha, de azért lehetett pihenni. A férjemnek semmi baja nem volt vele. 😅 A fürdő megoldása "sajátos", a wc kagyló mozog, de funkcióját ellátta, és mindig tiszta volt. Ez sem volt elviselhetetlen."

"Room was clean and tide. It is on great location. Basilica is 8 min walk and the other church 4min walk. We had great stay there. You need to walk to highest floor to enter the hotel. No elevator in the building. AC in the room. Breakfast was nice with croissant, orange juice and coffee."

"Lovely decor in each room, themed around an artist. We were in the Michelangelo room which had a large double bed and two singles. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good (juice, coffee with a fresh croissant, bread roll and American pancake each with cream cheese, butter and jams). The location is excellent and was within easy walking distance of all the main sites."

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

I dolci sono preparati dallo cheff e abbiamo anche assaggiato il suo panettone artigianale. La stanza era calda ed accogliente.
