"This is a small hotel in a superb location with colourful gardens and excellent views. The friendly and hard working staff were extremely helpful, and the owner Primus met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for a pre-arranged fee. This made our arrival so much easier and stress free. He also arranged car rental for us which was excellent value. There's a nice lounging area overlooking the bay, good for watching sunsets, and a refreshing pool. Home cooked food available lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed a most memorable and relaxing stay."

"All was lovely, the food was particularly good and a pleasant surprise after some of the restaurants we had eaten at on our trip. The cottage was great, the linen very good, the swimming pool a great asset."

We would have liked to have been given sandwiches with the tea at 4pm. Slight disappointment!

"Nagyon szép helyen található a hotel, a folyóparton, nagyon szép, hangulatos maga az épület is. Nagyon tetszett a kis folyóparti terasz. A reggelinél hatalmas volt a választék, nagyon kiadós és szuper minőségű az étel."

A wifi kicsit lassú volt, térerő szinte egyáltalán nem volt a szobában.

"We always enjoy coming back to this hotel. This was already our third stay and definitely not the last. Every time we arrive, we feel a bit like at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. House keeping could be better. In 6 days stay we got only one cleaning, so we lived with full bins of trash, ashtrays etc all the time. The bbq zone was pretty much occupied with the events, wich ruined our plans to grill the time we wanted.

There were regular power cuts in the city during our stay (not the hotels fault). The roads outside can be quite noisy at times

"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.
