I think the aesthetics could be improved. A bit of love into gardening and the outdoor settings for the guests.

"The room and outdoor areas were very nice. The bed was comfortable. It was great to have a kettle, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to messages."

It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. "We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

The only bad experience was that there was no WiFi connection. I was unable to communicate with friends and family back home which made them worried and scared.

Nothing to dislike

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.
