"The apartment was clean, comfy, and tastefully decorated. It is located in a quiet little village, 35-40 minutes by car from Strasbourg. It was nice to arrive here after the hustle and bustle of the Alsatian Christmas markets (which were wonderful, by the way, especially those in the small medieval villages). Sandrine, the host welcomed us every morning with a delicious breakfast, and we had some good chats. She is a very kind and extremely attentive host, and we are especially grateful to her for the tip about cheap parking in Strasbourg center, which probably saved us a lot of time searching for affordable and available parking spaces."

The courtyard at the entrance was lovely for young children and leading into the spacious sitting room with kitchen above made it very social. Very well equipped kitchen with kettle, large fridge and cooker. The bedrooms were on 2 levels with the bathroom on the third floor which made it feel more private. A lovely townhouse"

The whole area is stunning - Beaujolais vines and arable land as far as the eye can see. A part of France we haven't visited before but will definitely return to. We were impressed."
