"Location was great for travelling through the Champagne region. Lovely host on whom we could happily practice our French. Pool was gorgeous - our room opened out directly onto the garden/pool area, didn't want to leave! Short drive into Vertus for restaurants/bars but could also walk it"

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was large and well-appointed. The breakfast was an abundant continental spread including eggs, baton, and croissant. "Beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. Easy to access by car. Great facilities especially the beautiful garden and swimming pool. The hostess was very attentive and helpful. The local supermarket is only a short walk away and is well stocked."
"The location is a small town and doesn't have many restaurants however La P'tite Marotte was excellent. We didn't enjoy the walk back in the dark as some of the roads are not well lit. It would have been absolutely fine by car."
