"There was nothing to really "like" - nothing standing out - IMHO room facilities, decoration, bathroom and bedding where merely acceptable."

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

A déli kapu csak egy pár percre helyezkedik el, amelytől még egy óra autoút a parkon belül a game-drive területek, így mi a parkból kifele jövet szálltunk meg a helyen, és jobban nem is dönthettünk volna! A szobák tiszták voltak, volt szúnyogháló, melegvíz, kenyelmes ágyak, wifi, ár-érték arányban teljesen megfelelő reggeli, amelyet akkorra készítenek el, mikorra kéred.😊 A személyzet nagyon kedves, figyelmes és segítőkész volt! Csak ajánlani tudom ezt a kedves kis szálláshelyet!"

No fault of property but local drains were smelling. Would benefit from a washing machine.

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

We booked our hiking tour to Petra thru Dana Village Lodge , Ramzi and Hamza take care of everything and organise your entire holiday for you. I would highly recommend staying here and going on tour with Hamza and Camel and all the locals there. They are such amazing, generous, and thoughtful people"

Cleanliness could be improved. Flies and mosquitoes due to location. You need to keep fly and mosquitoes repellent

"The rooms (we booked 2) were beautiful, very clean. The location is great, 10-15 minute’s drive for supermarket, and 20-30 drive for tourism spots and known trails in the Golan. The stuff is very available and we they assisted us with all requests."

"Todo! Entorno natural, spa, gimnasio muy completo y realmente destacable, habitaciones, comida fresca y bien hecha, habitaciones y demás instalaciones, espacios comunes, actividades, todo!!!!! Es un lugar al que puedes volver tantas veces quieras y nunca te aburres!"

Lo único a destacar sería que agreguen huevos y opciones más proteicas al desayuno y que mejoren las bicicletas porque los caminos no son sencillos para pasear en ellas, les falta mantenimiento a esas bicicletas también.

It was private away from the centre of Vevchani. It felt very homely. We were there in winter and it was great and in summer it would be even better.
