"Beautiful historic hotel with amazing staff and a location that would be hard to beat. In the same street at the morning market and just at the end of the street is the bustling and fun night market. Street food market is a matter of minutes walk away as is the palace, temples, river and the viewpoint hill. All so close but the hotel is quiet at night so a good night sleep is to be had. Breakfast had varied choices and all cooked to order and eaten in the relaxing garden."

My only point was that as it is an old house you are asked to take off your shoes when you go upstairs - which is understandable - but the slippers they provide for use weren’t specifically for your room so could be used by other guests. Maybe small numbered bags or lockers would be a good idea. I simply walked with my socks on mostly.

"This has to be the premier location in Vientiane. Great location, with free courtesy bus to major attractions. Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling friendly accommodating staff. The foyer is large and welcoming with a coffee shop. The rooms are excellent, clean, comfortable, modern, large. Bathroom excellent with great shower and hot water pressure. The toilet is fully automatic opens lid on entry and flushes. Curtains are remote controlled and truly excellent black out quality. Breakfast choice is excellent and amazing. Happy hour with a choice of beers is great, we ate in the restaurant every night and were never disappointed in the presentation, quality, value and flavours. All the staff there pride themselves on customer service and they deliver excellence. A 10/10 from me. I have extensively travelled, I would rate here as the best experience I've encountered. I could not fault a single thing."

My room faced the street, so it was a little bit noisy. But with earplugs, it was fine

"It's a beautiful place,facing the river calm and quite. The breakfast is very good."

But the negative point is that we stayed 3 night. And we agreed with the owner for 3 more night at the same hotel,they wanted to change us to another hotel after booking our room,that was not the deal,we had the feeling of being throw out. So we left.

"The location is fantastic; beautiful all day but starting the day with breakfast on the terrace and finishing it at sunset is wonderful. Andy, the owner, is a great host and took really good care of us."

All was fine, sorry we had to leave. We could easily stay longer
