It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also dogs, cats, and chickens on the property, which we really enjoyed. They are super sweet. The property manager, Jésus, is such a kind person. He is always available and happy to help if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place."

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy. Every morning around six, the school bus drives through the main street honking loudly. There are also a lot of trucks passing by, which can be pretty noisy. On top of that, the rooster loves standing right next to the bedroom window to wake you up. Since there is a school next door, you will also hear music and kids early in the morning.

A nosotros nos tocaron días de lluvia y la calle para llegar se pone bastante difícil de transitar. Lo único que no funcionaba bien es la canilla de la cocina, que estaba suelta.

Le petit chemin qui mène jusqu'à l'hébergement est un peu difficile à emprunter. Surtout avec les bagages.

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

"Loved the cabin! So calm and relaxing. The cabin itself was so rustic, everything you need is there. The beds were so nice and comfortable, they had working netflix so on the cold rainy nights you can simply cuddle and watch some TV. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely lady gave it to us to our cabin in the morning and it was wrapped so nicely in a proper picnic basket! And the range was amazing, even better than hotel buffets. The staff were friendly! The area is very quiet with a short drive to many hiking spots but that's what we were looking for. Loved every second. Thanks again!"

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

The host should have explained how all the property facilities functioned or a set of instructions. We did not know about the water jets or lights of the pool. Slight smell in the room and lots of lizards and flys

"Pool, remoteness, local village and farmers tending the land in a traditional way. The apartment was modern. The drive in was an experience, around 8km on gravel road."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.
