"Superb location to where were visiting - football stadium. Very comfortable in all areas with plenty of seating. Staff were great and friendly and gave a warm welcome. Nothing was too much problem. Breakfast was continental with a good choice."

Nothing - everything was great and as shown in pictures on web site. Would definitely stay here again.

"A hajó berendezésének a hangulata, a kilátás és az óváros közelsége különösen tetszett. Nagyon egyedi élmény hajón aludni és reggelizni. A személyzet kedves volt és segítőkész, a reggeli bőséges és változatos."

A WC lehúzásához a gombot erősebben és hosszabban kellett lenyomni, így elsőre úgy tűnt, nem működik.

"Wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeber. Die Feierabende waren entspannt, ruhig und entschleunigend. Sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt."

Nur ein einziger Punkt wäre verbesserungswürdig. Verdunklungsrollos im Bereich der Schlafbereich würden für etwas längere Nächte sorgen :-)

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

"A junior lakosztály nagyon jó volt, szépen felújított, kényelmes. Jó volt a fűtés, nem fáztunk. A reggeli jó volt, nem túl nagy kínálattal, de teljesen rendben volt. A szálloda elhelyezkedése tökéletes, az óváros peremén, szép panorámával a várra és a Dunára. Attól nem kell félni, hogy úszik a Dunán, egyáltalán nem éreztük, hogy kicsit is mozgott volna. Ár-érték arányban nagyon jó."

A reggelinél a zöldség kevés volt, illetve időben kellett menni, mert az elfogyott dolgokat nem mindig pótolták. Nincs parkolója a szállodának, így autóval nem a legideálisabb, de megoldottuk.

Der Gastgeber Franck ist sehr nett und er erklärt auch wunderbar die Handhabung des Dingis, so dass man auch jederzeit an Land gehen kann. Möchte man aber bei so einem paradiesischen Hausboot gar nicht :-). Mehr Karibik geht nicht!"

"Unique experience staying on a yacht- not many people get to do that! Well equipped and a place for everything"

It was a shame that due to the weather the back covers were on the boat but we did open up the doors, a lot of the cupboards were locked as they contained personal items for the owners

"A unique experience you will always remember. The private boat tour to the cabin with our guide Thomas was amazing. The view and serenity are second to none. The cabin is modern and clean. The bed is comfy. Temperature was great. The included food was delicious and so much."

Remember you are in a very fancy tent on the glacier lagoon rather than a hotel room :) All very clearly communicated so no surprise, but beware that the toilet is a fraction of an airplane toilet with no real door, there is no shower, and you need to be super careful with everything.
