La sig.ra Gina incarna l'ospitalità e l'accoglienza che ogni ospite desidera ricevere; empatica e mai invadente, generosa nel donarsi, attenta e cordiale. Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. "What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."

"Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

Nothing. Had to walk up a couple flights of stairs - and I’m not used to the altitude, but that’s not the property’s fault.

Számomra csak az volt a furcsa, amivel a rengeteg utazasunk során még nem találkoztunk, hogy kifizetettem a szállást, de utólag még szervíz költséget kértek. Ha ezt így gondolják, azt miért nem kalkulálják bele az árba??? Ez rejtély számomra..🥴

"The location was excellent and very convenient. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the apartment itself was very spacious. Overall, the place was really good and we enjoyed our stay."

The cleanliness of the kitchen area was disappointing. There were dirty dishes with coffee stains left in the cupboard, which suggests the kitchen had not been properly checked after the previous guests. Basic items such as a kitchen towel were also missing. Most of the lights in the living room were not working. Only one light in the kitchen functioned, and the lamps did not work either. There was also no lighting available in the bedroom, which made the space difficult to use at night. In addition, Wi-Fi was neither offered nor available at the accommodation. While we did not specifically ask about it in advance, it is generally an expected amenity and would have been helpful during our stay.

"The accommodation was clean and fresh, Location was quiet with plenty of local restaurants, and a few local shops to get basic groceries. We hired a car during our stay which is recommended if you want to further a field as we did ."
