"Very good value apartment sooo close to the gondola. Very comfortable for the two of us. We were able to extend our stay by an extra night to take advantage of great skiing conditions rather than leaving the room and packing up our stuff. Dominic was super helpful and efficient in organising this for us. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. Televisions in both lounge and bedroom and large ones too. Parking though it costs each day is a bonus - parking underground when cars were getting buried in the snow outside was fab! Looking at the prices of other places whilst Encamp is not the most buzzing place this aparthotel is definitely value for money."

Our room had a very small kitchenette as the stairs took away part of the apartment so would choose a different apartment next time. Not a criticism but an addition to what would be helpful to guests include: hooks on doors as the only hooks were in the bathroom and we really needed to hang up our wet ski gear! Also some notes advising guests of facilities eg how the rubbish system works with the different coloured bags and bins and if staying for a few days the rubbish containers in the apartment are too small, maybe a little more cutlery would be nice. Aparthotel can't do anything about it but please manager be aware that the police are starting to man the traffic very early and like blowing their whistles all the time from about 7.30!

A fűtés nagyon jól működött, a hűvös idő ellenére is könnyen be tudtam fűteni az apartmant. A kulcs átvétele és leadása nagyon egyszerű és gyors volt."

Az utcáról könnyen behallatszott a zaj a szobába. Egyes felszereltségek (pl. konnektorok, szekrények) viszonylag gyengébb minőségűek voltak (de természetesen maximálisan működött minden).

The actual location of the apartment was not exactly as indicated on the booking.com map, which was not so good for us.

"Nice apartment, nice terrace overlooking the pool and with partial sea view. The ceiling fans were very good and enough to keep the apartmrent cool and we did not need the aircon. The owner had been very friendly and responsive. Just a few meters walk to a long stretch of beach with few people around. Free use of beach chairs and sunshades"

Air conditioning did not work in the living room but was not a problem because we did not need it. The only problem was after we checked out when we received a message from the owner saying that we had forced open a closet and damaged some beach towels. I have explained the owner how things really went and I believe that it was fiundamentally a misunderstanding and the problem was likely caused by the people in charge of the cleaning/maintenance of the apartment or some previous guests, since the owner lives in Europe. To be fair the owner did not ask us to pay anything it was just her complaining about us having done something that we did not do.

Their professionalism and kindness truly made a difference. The property is also very well connected, which made getting around easy and convenient. "We were meet by the owner Michel and his staff. All the staff were very accommodating and pleasant they made us all feel at home. The staff did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay, they were very attentive. The property was perfect for me and my whanau (family) we live near the ocean in NZ. We enjoy being near the ocean and forest. A great opportunity for all to rejuvenate mind and body. We were all able to relax and enjoy the private beach. We were very grateful and blessed for their assistance with the option of a late check-out and help with transport to Uturoa Airport. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The Kitchen/pantry storage and dining area's were clean perfect for our needs. We will be back. Tau Ke!!"

The amenities listing was incorrect for kitchenware. There was only 2 cups which to us did not equate to kitchenware. We booked an apartment with a kitchenette due to my food intolerances and needing to self cater. We did get some by asking.

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."
